Our client is a premier financial institution with clear growth strategy. It is recruiting for a dynamic Head of Capital and Treasury Management – Vice President.
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the effective management of the capital and investible funds to generate the most optimal returns within the investment framework. You will manage relationships with regulators, banks and rating agencies and ensure compliance with regulatory capital requirements. With a good understanding of the regulatory capital rules, the businesses the institution is operating in, drivers of capital demand and sources of capital, you will play an important role in developing and implementing methodologies for capital allocation and maximising return on capital so as to achieve optimal capital structure for the institution. With a good appreciation of the economic and market conditions, you will assess, monitor, plan and manage efficient utilisation of cash and financial services to ensure adequate liquidity to meet obligations. You will manage the treasury policies, strategies and transactions at an acceptable cost (return) and risk.
Degree qualified, ideally in Business, Accountancy or Economics, you have at least 10 years’ relevant working experience in the financial industry and an in-depth understanding of Capital and Treasury anagement. You are confident, articulate, commercial, logical, proactive and solutions focused. Corporate Treasurers from non-financial sector are also considered. Experience in capital and fund raising activities are highly preferred.
