Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Head of CCG leads a creative team that develops innovative and unique communication solutions for Aetnas National Accounts Commercial, Government and Labor, and Key Account clients. Key areas of focus include developing and executing the business strategy for CCG growth; marketing and sales; and achieving successful financial results by delivering high value/quality products. The Head of CCG has full responsibly for managing the P L for the business. Increase profitability through aggressive marketing and prospecting. Presenting CCGs capabilities and value to both field sales and external clients is key to the success of the business. Acquiring new customers through the development and execution of communications strategies is critical to the goals and financial objectives to provide profitable revenue and growth. Stays abreast of new developments and trends in communications, adjusts business strategies and resources to respond to market demands. The CCG Head delivers organized, polished capabilities presentations and solutions that are tied to the constituents communications needs based on claim data, demographics, benefits strategies, plan design and wellness goals. Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in the marketplace. Build and maintain productive relationships across the field sales organization. The CCG Head is current and knowledgeable about new product and program developments and looks for opportunities to leverage customized communications. EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES Management/Management - Marketing/More Than 10 Years Communications/Multi-media communications management/More Than 10 Years Leadership/Lead a complex or multifunctional organization/More Than 10 Years Leadership/Profit Loss Accountability/More Than 10 Years ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION SKILL OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS College degree, plus a minimum of 10 - 15 years experience in a sales, marketing and/or communications-related position Experience in managing a business and delivering strong financial results Excellent writing and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to prioritize projects, multi-task, manage and meet tight deadlines Experience working directly with external customers Adaptable in handling high pressure situations Demonstrated experience managing a high performance team Must be a highly-motivated; consummate professional who is energized by a deadline-driven, entrepreneurial business model built around meeting external customer needs.
