HEAD OF CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS (MATERNITY LEAVE CONTRACT) recruitment

Founded in 2009, Ironbark Asset Management is an independent provider of best in class asset management solutions and is responsible for the distribution of assets worth approximately $2b.  Through our strategic partnerships with international and Australian fund managers, we provide investment solutions across a diverse range of asset classes including Australian and International Equities, Alternatives, Domestic and Global Property Securities and Fixed income.  

Ironbark is now looking for an accomplished Team Manager required to manage the Client Communications team within this fast growing asset manager. As the Head of Client communications you will be responsible for the management and coordination of the service delivery platform to all clients. The role will also have a responsibility for Client Reporting and Research review functions as well as oversight and management of the internal call centre.

This is a central role within the organisation with a strong focus on delivery to our Retail and mezzanine client base. The successful candidate will be confident, have excellent communications skills, first-hand experience in this type of role along with RG146 competency. The core responsibilities will include:

This is a unique opportunity to join a boutique asset management business with a large client base. Your ability to direct the team, manage key external stakeholders and ensure the effective and timely delivery of service to our clients is essential for this role. You will have strong communication and organisational skills with a minimum of 5years experience in the financial services industry in a similar role.

To be successful in this role you will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel as well as have a strong attention to detail, good editing skills, an understanding of investment markets and able to participate in an overall culture of Compliance.
