Head of Client Management – Fiduciary Management recruitment

They have had a very successful launch in the UK and are now looking to continue with the next phase of their growth by adding a Head of Account Management to the team. The key parts of the role will be to take responsibility for managing the relationships between them and a number of their UK clients as well as taking full responsibility for the development of the client management function in the UK. The Head of Account Management will effectively act as the CEO of their clients within the company and will work closely with the Strategy and Operations teams to define and implement the agreed fiduciary mandate and then report progress to the client on an ongoing basis, advising them of decisions taken and results achieved. To be successful you must be able to effectively and credibly interact with senior pension fund managers and trustees, to set expectations with them, and then manage internal resources to deliver on these expectations.  Further you will need to have senior management experience of running teams of investment/actuarial professionals.  The successful candidate will be a seasoned investment professional with a broad and deep understanding of pension scheme assets and liabilities and the risks involved. In addition, you will have strong influencing, communication and negotiating skills and will have a profound sense of the responsibility involved in managing the assets of a pension scheme and the willingness and ability to take this responsibility. The successful candidate is likely to hold the CFA/FIA/FFA or similar designation and is likely to have worked in an institutional client-facing role in an investment manager or investment consultancy.
