Head of Commercial Analytics
The key purpose of this role is to manage the Retail Commercial Analytics Department ensuring high standards and accuracy of data and commercial analysis to grow the Retail division. The ideal applicant will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve perpetual business growth.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Manages/oversees the day to day commercial results of various Retail products and services
- Provides reporting and analysis to internal and external customers
- Sets pricing for all areas of the business and manages stock levels
- Represent Moneycorp to the customers
- Develops and executes commercial strategy to ensure business growth achieved through pricing, customer messaging, staff motivation, and business development (MA, RFP, Product channel development, etc)
- Ensures PL net profit targets are reached by initially analysing KPI’s/KPD’s and understanding market forces, then devising and implementing relevant, commercially motivated action plans
- Supports implementation of new products and services into Retail effectively, on time and in budget
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
Knowledge Experience:
- Proven work experience in a similar role managing a team
- Proven experience of setting department KPI’s in line with the business strategy
Skills and Competencies:
- Able to design and implement strategies
- Problem solving and analytical
- Confident decision maker
- Able to motivate team to achieve goals
- Able to communicate and manage relationships across all
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Excel, Word Powerpoint) and analytical tools – Essential
- Working knowledge of BEX – Desirable
Education:
- Degree or higher level in an analytical subject
