ABOUT OUR CLIENT:

Our client is a global leading Corporate  Investment Bank. Due to constant growth and further commitment to Asia a position has arisen within their Risk Department in Shanghai. They are seeking an experienced credit risk professional to join them as Head of Commercial Credit Risk China. 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be in charge of overall credit risk management and delegating credit decisions. Our client is accelerating the growth of its business in Asia. You will be accountable to the CRO China for overall credit risk management of Commercial banking business in China. This will encompass formulation of country lending guidelines jointly with business, development of local credit risk policies and processes, monitoring and taking proactive action to manage the quality of the portfolio and approving credit applications within delegated credit discretion.

The role, as a key member of the Risk team in China and will support CRO China in risk initiatives to deliver effective credit risk management and governance, and superior performance in a challenging and competitive environment. You will be accountable to the CRO China on credit risk management of Commercial Banking portfolio, and ensuring sound credit decisions to minimize credit losses. Acting as a subject matter expert on credit risk, you will provide strong support to business and growth.
