Our client is a reputable financial institution with global and local exposures. To cope with their expansion, they are now seeking the right candidate to join their operation in Hong Kong. This position is a leading role for their Commodity business with the following job functions:
- Set up and lay out the infrastructure, policies and procedures for the teams globally
- Support the origination team in the acquisition and structuring of structured finance commodities mandates
- Undertake a comprehensive and independent qualitative and quantitative risk analysis based on all transaction-related information
- Review and advise on transaction documentation with origination, clients and lawyers
- Liaise with syndication specialists
- Monitor and administer closed transactions during the life of the credit facility, including preparing various waivers and amendments
- Comply with both internal and external reporting requirements, and those defined by audit
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of credit risk experience in structured finance focusing on commodities
- Strong analytical and credit risk assessment skills
- Strong understanding of relevant documentation and procedures
- English language fluency
- Self-initiative and a team player with good interpersonal skills
