Head of Company Secretarial recruitment

The Role 

As the Head of Company Secretarial you will be responsible for managing and growing a team that provides Company Secretarial services to the business' corporate clients. You will also act as Company Secretary for some of my client's international offices and assist in growing a team in another jurisdiction.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Overseeing the convening, attending and minute taking at board meetings, including Funds and Corporate entities.
-Managing the provision of company secretarial support for set -up corporate entities and LP's in various jurisdictions.
-Ensuring that the team provides on-going maintenance of company records, share and registrar functions and system maintenance.
- Overseeing the stock exchange fillings and delegated listing functions including the London Stock Exchange, AIM, SFM, CISX and Euronext.
- Providing feedback on operational effectiveness of procedures and be involved in the on-going development and expansion of the department. 

Who we are looking for 

Applications are invited from candidates already living in Guernsey or who are genuinely committed to relocating to the island.
In addition, the successful Head of Company Secretarial will:
- Have a proven track record working as a Company Secretary, ideally within a FS/ Funds/ Trust business.
- Have a strong background in people management.
- Hold a professional qualification (ICSA, STEP).
- Ideally have previous exposure working Offshore/ with Offshore structures.
- Excellent communication skills.
