Head of Compensation and Benefits – Hedge Fund – London recruitment
This role will encompass all aspects of remuneration including fixed and variable payments, share scheme, benefits, insurances, pensions, SIPPs and incentives and ensuring compliance with legislative and FSA Remuneration Code requirements.
The role will involve;
-Working with the HR team to accurately maintain current and up to date remuneration data.
-Leading the administration of quarterly bonus reviews and annual salary/promotion reviews by providing effective support to the Remuneration committee and Board of Directors.
-Managing the quarterly share dealing for buy, sell and exercise of options.
-Providing guidance and advice to the Recruitment team with regards to remuneration for new employees and pending offers.
-Preparing timely and accurate detailed progress reports and analysis for management information.
-Liaising with external pension, insurance and taxation advisors for UK and overseas offices as required.
-Sharing specialist knowledge with HR colleagues, and providing assistance to the Head of Human Resources as required.
Person Specification:
• Proven experience of remuneration management, within a regulated environment, (Tier 4 minimum).
• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet competency.
• Highly numerate.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and focussed in challenging situations.
• Collegiate team member.
