This Corporate Investment Banking Division serves as a talent pool for our client’s global platform, which contributes to a significant portion of the bank’s revenues and profits.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Compliance advisory for the Corporate and Investment banking division in India - Oversee office operations, client interaction and staff management.
- Understanding of cross border regulatory framework and monitor applicable regulatory changes and provide effective change management to address such changes and keeps abreast of new products, technologies and applications as well as their implications for assigned area.
- Strategize Compliance framework - Contribute to the design, implementation and on-going improvement of compliance manuals, policies, procedures and systems.
- Interface between Business and Regulators.
- Proactively assess risk and suggest management actions to control the same.
- Contribute to the development of compliance management, learning and development across the division
- Oversee periodic operations and compliance reviews, taking action where necessary. Maintain and evaluate compliance activities by identifying issues and detecting, preventing and mitigating risks.
- Manage and grow the operational compliance risk management program for the division
- Oversee and participate in on-going staff training regarding compliance; work with business units to identify and address issues in new products and services and changes to existing ones.
Experience in the European and Asian markets, especially London and/or Hong Kong, would be preferred.
