Head of Compliance Advisory recruitment
This high profile position is dedicated to integer individuals who want to implement within a big European Private banking network high compliance standards and culture. The candidate will report directly to the Group Head of Compliance and will manage a team of advisors, part of a Compliance team of overall 15 FTE. The main objectives of this position will be a leading role:
- To prevent Compliance risks by providing with awareness messages, training and recommendations, in the context of the Group's Compliance Awareness Programme;
- To participate in the development of the Compliance culture in the Group, by establishing and disseminating Group Rules, Standards and other Best Practices and by promoting the sharing of know-how between the entities of the Group;
- To provide with analyses, opinions and general advice on Compliance matters, to KBL in Luxemburg, as well as to the other entities of KBL Group;
- To manage the Advisory Team, taking into account the strengths of its members and helping them to further develop their competences;
- To answer any question from the Senior Management of KBL or the entities of the Group, as well as to provide them with clear and useful information on future regulatory evolutions and their impact on KBL's business;
- To participate in the communication of clear and transparent information to the relevant Authorities;
- To contribute to KBL's representation in various professional committees and organisations, such as ABBL, ALCO, etc.
Given the high level of responsibility of this position, the most suitable candidate will need:
- To have a university degree, highly preferably in Law;
- To have at least 10 years experience in Compliance and / or Legal functions;
- To be highly analytic;
- To be able to support a significant workload with time constraints and deliver “state-of-the-art” deliverables;
- To have the up most integrity and discretion skills;
- To anticipate and manage changes in the bank's – compliance - environment;
- To have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and be able to promote the Compliance culture to employees as well as Senior Management;
- To be able to convince by explaining, while remaining diplomatic in his / her approach.
A high command of both English and French is required, any additional European languages being an asset (German, Dutch or Spanish).
