Head of Compliance, AML & Risk – Private Banking recruitment

 Our client, a leading International Private Bank is looking for a Head of Compliance, AML Risk for its Monaco office, reporting to the Global Head of Private Banking Compliance abroad and Senior Management. Performing a broad range of compliance, AML and operational risk on a day to day basis

Duties Include:

• Communicating new regulatory requirements to Senior Management, the front office and staff.

• Develop, maintain and review the Compliance Plan that will effectively monitor the Bank’s compliance with all its regulatory requirements

• Develop and maintain relationships with the relevant regulatory bodies and Head Office

• Report regulatory risks and failures to Senior Management and Global Compliance Head Office abroad.

• Provide advice to the business on regulatory and transactional issues.

• Conduct compliance reviews in accordance with Compliance plan and report findings to Senior Management and the Audit Committee

• Ensure that compliance risks for every business areas are identified and relevant controls are developed to mitigate these risks

• Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures

• Monitor the day to day operation of the Bank’s Anti-Money Laundering policies and activities.

• Act as point of reference and receive internal reports from management and staff

• Manage staff in their day to day responsibilities

• Complete annual money laundering report to the Board

• Be point of contact for all staff, Senior Management and regulatory agencies for all compliance and AML queries

The successful candidate will ideally have a Private Banking or Wealth Management background with a strong knowledge of private banking products. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with Senior Management in Monaco and Abroad.
