Head of Compliance – Global Asset Management recruitment
Our client is a global asset management firm with a growing model and is looking for an experienced candidate to oversee the Hong Kong Compliance function
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Head of Compliance, you will be fully responsible for:
• Ensuring the activities in the compliance functions adhere to the regulatory requirements and investment limitations
• Supervising the compliance team in the review of marketing material and AML reviews for clients
• Conducting research and preparing documentation in response to customer inquiries
• Making recommendation to senior management of the firm’s internal control procedures and policies to enhance efficiency of operations
• Submitting regular filings to the regulators and reviewing and updating compliance manual of the firm
The Successful Applicant
You will be a University Graduate holding a degree in law and/or economics preferred with at least 10 years experience gained within an asset management compliance function. You will possess sound knowledge of Hong Kong, China and Taiwan regulatory laws and have strong communication, analytical and leadership skills. Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is essential.
