Reporting to the General Council, you will be fully responsible for:
- Establishing a comprehensive compliance monitoring program for the business
- Overseeing the design, implementation and maintenance of the company's compliance procedurs manual and monitoring program
- Working closely with the Head of Legal to develop and maintain business unit relationships across the region
- Identiying and responding to ongoing regulatory changes and to implement new policies and procedures where necessary
- Managing work relationships with the regulatory bodies by having an effective communication between business leaders and other functional areas
- Participating in departmental budgets and forecasts for related operational expenses
- Ensuring the Compliance team operates within established budgetary guidelines
- Involving in ad hoc projects
The Successful Applicant
You will be a University Graduate holding a degree in law and/or economics preferred with at least 10 years experience gained within a financial services compliance function. You will possess sound knowledge of Hong Kong and regional compliance and regulatry laws and have strong communication, analytical and leadership skills. Hands on expereince with asset management business will be an advantage. Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken is essential.
