HEAD OF COMPLIANCE SINGAPORE – LIFE INSURANCE recruitment

The role of the Compliance function in the region is to establish and maintain compliance policies and procedures so that external and internal regulations and standards are complied with and protect the integrity and reputation of the business.  Therefore a seasoned compliance executive with life insurance experience is vital to help establish a compliant business within their Singapore office.

Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Compliance based in Hong Kong, you will initiate the proper assessment of compliance risks, design control policies and procedures to reduce the compliance risks and monitor the effectiveness of the recommended compliance control measures. You will guide and support the implementation of AML policies and lead a small team of compliance professionals.

You will have at least 10 years experience in compliance, particularly in life insurance with relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting/ commerce or legal. You will have excellent communication skills and preferably fluency in other Asian languages.
