Role Desription
As the Head of Corporates you will be responsible for managing a team of Relationship Managers based in Jersey, ensuring the delivery of exceptional sales and business performance. You will be responsible for growing and developing a portfolio of predominantly local corporate and International trading company clients to generate sustained revenue.
A key element of the role is engaging with the client's senior management team and obtaining an in depth understanding of their strategic business needs to become a 'trusted adviser'. This will provide you with the opportunity to work with colleagues worldwide to ensure best business practice is followed.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Sales Management- you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a comprehensive sales plan, management of client activity and standards and revenue performance.
- Leadership- you will lead and develop a team of Relationship Managers
- Risk Management- responsibility for the management and control of operational, credit and regulatory risk for the team.
- Client Service Management- proactively identify and monitor key client service issues to ensure the team delivers exceptional service.

-A proven track record building / maintaining a client base of corporate banking clients.
- A strong background managing and developing a team of people.
- Significant knowledge of banking, credit , treasury and investment products and services.
- Knowledge of external legislative requirements , to ensure compliance with the business' regulatory requirements.
- A genuine commitment to relocating to the island.
