Head of Corporate Communications & Marketing, Asia recruitment

Summary:

A global leading financial institution, one of the growing and expanding financial organisations is seeking for a high calibre Corporate Communications Marketing Services professional to head up the team in Asia.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the President in Asia and leading a small team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing market-leading strategic corporate communications and marketing services initiatives across the region. Working closely with business unit heads, you will drive activities such as but not limited to brand building, product marketing, external communications, media relations, thought leadership and internal communications. You will be cultivating and building strong relationship with regional and international media as well as providing strategic counselling to senior management on key media issues. You will also lead the company’s Asia thought-leadership programs including identifying opportunities for market commentary and speaking opportunities.

Requirements:

An ideal candidate should be a degree holder in Journalism, Communications or related disciplines, with at least 10-15 years of experience in corporate communications, media relations, brand management and marketing. Work experience in financial institutions and knowledge of asset management are highly regarded. You are collaborative, fast pace, flexible with a “can-do” attitude and able to work with hands-on approach. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills as well as excellent English writing skills are vital to the success of the role.
