By accessing public record information across the globe and undertaking discreet source enquiries, our Corporate Intelligence (CI) team helps clients understand who they are doing business with and avoid costly mistakes. The team also supports clients (both internal and external) with investigative/research support in asset tracing cases, fraud investigations and litigation.
CI assignments are varied and involve a wide range of sectors, countries and situations. The successful candidate will already be operating at similar level, and will have a flair for creative and innovative research techniques and an eye for accuracy and objectivity. The successful candidate should have substantial experience in a research environment, and a proven track record in project management and business and team development.

Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
- Substantial experience working in a corporate and business intelligence or similar research capacity
- A proven track record in generating and developing business opportunities and sustaining a business network
- Proven skills in project and people management
- An ability to use own initiative to follow up research leads, whilst being aware of information gathering methods that would not be acceptable to PwC
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw concise, evidence-based conclusions
- An ability to pay attention to detail – ensuring that vital information is neither missed nor misreported
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – fluent Russian plus precision and full fluency in formal written business English is essential. The ideal candidate will have a flair for written work and be able to produce high quality documents under time pressure
- An interest in politics and business and familiarity with business and financial terms
- An ability to be accurate under pressure and to switch flexibly between several different tasks and respond to unexpected deadlines and priorities
Additional desirable skills include a knowledge of accounting, experience of undertaking investigations, or any other forensic background.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the roles will include:
- Management of investigative, intelligence gathering and research projects
- Day to day management of the CI team, including all projects but also staff development, finances, risk management etc
- Preparation and management of compilation of research findings and review of client reports (both in Russian and in English)
- Liaising and working with other teams both within CEE and the wider PwC network of member firms.
