Corporate Financial Services (CFS) serves over 13,000 clients with complex financial needs and over $10m in turnover.

Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) provides a comprehensive range of services to over 30,000 relationships located in Regional and Rural Australia

You will:

This role will report in to the General Manager CFS, VIC/TAS and the General Manager RAB, VIC/TAS.

You will lead the Corporate Financial Services and Regional and Agribusiness Banking function in Tasmania, with a key focus on ensuring a consistent customer service proposition across the entire state.

As a people leadership position, the role will see you lead, coach and mentor a team of professionals across the function in Tasmania, with the aim of building staff engagement, inspiring others to achieve goals and expectations, and facilitating the development of individuals within the business.

You will also work collaboratively with Retail Banking Services (RBS) and each of the BPB divisions including Corporate Financial Services (CFS), Local Business Banking (LBB), and Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) to develop strategic and tactical plans that enable revenue growth, increased brand presence, and enhanced customer satisfaction across Tasmania.

The role is a highly visible one, both internally and externally. As a senior leader in the business, you will represent Commonwealth Bank in the Tasmanian market and community, as well as represent the Tasmanian business internally.

You are:

You will have strong sales leadership capability and experience coupled with sound commercial knowledge and extensive credit understanding, within a Banking environment.

You have superior communication skills, show sound business judgement and think on a broad canvas whilst taking an organisational perspective. You will establish a strong and credible impression on others and embrace opportunities for learning and continuous improvement. You will also take responsibility for driving a high performance culture, and most importantly be a strong leader and mentor to staff.
