Head of Corporate Travel

An award winning travel company based in the Bolton, Greater Manchester area has approached Hays seeking a Head of Corporate Travel to report into the Managing Director who will be responsible for driving the business on a global scale, focussing on their business travel offerings. Working closely with the Managing Director, the Head of Corporate Travel will have a focus on securing and retention of contracts, service improvement, business development and the protection of margins.

As the Head of Corporate Travel you will be responsible for developing a strategic business plan in order to secure growth of the company's Corporate Travel business, therefore also securing further corporate travel agents to work with the business. You will be an advocate of this market leading business and will focus on promoting the company's values in order to further develop business in line with the company strategy. A large part of this role will be building a strong business development process, allowing the business to increase the number of accounts in line with their current customer profile and you will also get involved in the securing of larger contracts.

As the Head of Corporate Travel you will also work closely with the Sales Marketing teams, identifying where you can work smarter in order to run a more efficient business. You will assist in driving any business enhancements, therefore improving the overall business offering to agents and customers.

The successful Head of Corporate Travel will have a strong background working within a similar industry, as well as experience of developing and delivering business plans in line with budgets and timescales. You must have a confident approach, as well as the drive and enthusiasm to develop business, therefore also inspiring colleagues.
