Head of Counterparty Credit Risk recruitment
My client, a leading Financial Institution, is looking to hire an experienced Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst to lead their Counterparty Credit team. The role will report through to the Head of Risk Management and be responsible for Risk Analysts in London and Europe. The core focus of the role will be to develop the team and create a sound Counterparty Credit Risk culture within the organization.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a team of experienced Credit Analysts.
- Work closely with Senior Management to ensure effective communication of Counterparty Credit Risk to the board.
- Preparing credit applications for the Risk Management Executive Committee.
- Setting of limits for new and existing products.
- Making recommendations around how risk management could be more effective.
- Managing the integration of new credit risk systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensuring Compliance with Counterparty Credit Risk regulation.
In terms of experience, you will have:
- Significant experience working within a Counterparty Credit Risk role for a leading financial institution.
- Previous experience managing and leading a team would be highly desirable.
- Experience across a broad range of financial products.
- Previous experience managing projects related to risk management.
- A quantitative qualification would be desirable.
- Strong communication skills.
