Head of Credit and Risk Management recruitment
Our client is a PRC investment bank of a major PRC bank in HK.
The job:
- Manage the overall risks of the Company
- Design the risk management strategy by critically assessing the business strategies, processes, products and services from a risk perspective (i.e. enterprise risk management)
- Establish and implement risk management policies and controls with the objective of reinforcing a robust risk management culture
- Formulate and implement appropriate and adequate risk measurement and reporting systems and independent oversight and control processes
- Develop and update the monitoring of the Margin Portfolio of the company, and the daily risk reports with focus on margin calls and various credit risks, and provide monthly analysis of credit reports facilitating effectve monitoring.
- Identify, report and resolve pertinent risk management issues for asset management business including where applicable the appropriate risk and control limits, the reporting of risk positions and performance, capital requirements, accounting treatment and standards, and investigation and resolution of irregular or disputed transactions
- Together with COO and Legal Compliance manage the change as required under Basel III in terms of system integration and to identify potential control gaps and areas for improvements in order to enhance the platform service delivery
- Prepare for the stress test and risk reports and carries out day to day monitoring tasks
Requirements
- Holder of a good degree in finance or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years working experience in credit and risk in a banking environment
- Member of FRM or related professional body
- Excellent command of Putonghua and English
- Excellent interpersonal skill, with an ability to communicate with all levels of management
