Head of Credit Documentation Unit recruitment

Key Roles Responsibilities
1.Manage the Credit Documentation Unit for the deals flowing from OCC business sectors in Singapore and the regional countries.
2.Ensure efficient and quality support for Business Units in line with the Corporate Goal and Strategy.
3.Devise and execute short to long term implementation plan to improve operations flow of the business to cope with continual business growth.
4.Maintain independent control of the unit to protect the corporate interest regarding risk and return.
5.Liaise with business units, internal legal counsels and other supporting operations when necessary to support business development and expansion.
6.Monitor the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of the operations from time to time and provide corresponding actions for improvement with respect to the changing business or customer needs.
7.Ensure all services/products provided are legally compliant, approved in the respective PPGs and CAs in order to protect the best interest of both the Bank and the customers.
8.Enable synergy within the Unit/across other operations to maintain the best interest of the Bank regarding risk control and resources utilization.
9.Provide high level quality support and advice on all securing documentation matters to business units.
10.Talent development for potential and high performing staff
11.Provide effective orientation / guidance to new joiners on the bank's policies / procedures / processes to ensure their successful assimilation into the Team and the Bank

Qualifications Skills

1.Preferably Tertiary Education or relevant professional qualification with experience at managerial/supervisory level.
2.Ability to plan, organize, lead and make spontaneous and rational judgments and decisions.
3.Strong analytical skills in resolving operational and system issues.
4.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5.Good working knowledge on bank's products/services and operations of other departments.
6.Good working knowledge on local Companies Act and legal requirements for perfection of security documentation.
7.Good supervisory and management skills.
8.Sound knowledge of banking practices, relevant legislation and Statutory and Regulatory requirements.
