Head of Credit Policies and Control
Directly reporting to the Chief Credit Officer (CCO), the incumbent will lead a small team of credit professionals and is responsible for:

- Lead a team of professionals to support the overall business and risk management in formulating, reviewing and updating credit policies, procedures, guidelines and underwriting standards for the Bank.
- Develop and drive the stress testing process on credit risk exposures, as well as manage credit risk related modules within the overall Basel II plan as endorsed by the Bank.
- Conduct commercial scorecards development, validation, testing and implementation.
- Monitor and manage the credit risk limits; and ensure that credit risk limits are adherence to internal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments and external bodies on relevant audits/examinations for Credit Risk Management.
Requirements:?
- Degree Holder in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in credit sector in commercial banking, of which minimum 5 years are at managerial level.
- Well versed in lending principles and credit processes, with strong knowledge of trade finance, mortgage and treasury products.
- Experienced in developing commercial scorecard systems.
- Knowledge of Basel II and front-line marketing experience is a definite advantage.
- Able to drive people with strong communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
