Head of Credit Portfolio Management recruitment
Role Purpose:
The Credit Portfolio Management Team is responsible for the Haircut-setting for eligible collateral for Lombard Lending client utilizations, the Risk mitigation of the Lombard Lending client utilizations and for the maintenance of collateral risks within the risk appetite framework. The Team is also responsible for the support of special client requests or portfolio analyses. The main Stakeholders are Credit Risk Sanctioning, Wealth Solutions and Credit Operation. The Team makes the final decision regarding the WM standard haircuts to be applied to all eligible assets as well as the minima for any assets pledged for special cases in line with the Global Matrix and the Regulations (Terms of Reference) concerning the Powers of Authorisation regarding Lending Limits of the Bank while also considering the operational and systems capabilities of the Bank. The Team also drafts and submits any policies to expand the eligible assets for the WM Division and/or reviews and recommends any policies to adapt or change the local / regional eligible asset base.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintenance of the Global WM collateral pool
- Responsibility for the haircuts to be applied to special or single security
- Change/Adaptation of Lombard Lending Loan to Values according to the Global Lombard Matrix
- Risk assessment and analysis of different securities/ portfolios and LTV proposals for special transactions
- Participation to the development of risk monitoring and modelling systems / capabilities
- Improvement of risk understanding within Credit Risk and Private Banking
- Provide asset analysis and determine the minimum haircuts to be applied for special transactions, special client requests, portfolios and/or for special or complex securities including ongoing monitoring of the haircuts determined
- Responsible for the continued enhancement of risk systems (IT) and for the development of new risk measurement methods
- Address and mitigate potential portfolio collateral concentrations as well as provide input to the sanctioners regarding client concentrations identified by the sanctioners

- Very good language skills in German and English (oral and written); other languages would be an asset
- Ability to analyse companies balance sheets

Required Experience:
- More than 3 years Credit Risk / Credit Solutions experience preferably with a major competitor institution and within the Lombard Lending environment
- Strong experience and knowledge of Private Banking, Asset Management and financial products
- Business Economic or Bachelor/University Degree or several years of experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
- Experience in Project Management; strong experience to support and lead people through change
