The Company:
This London branch of an overseas bank, with extensive range of financial services in Trade Finance, Corporate and Institutional Banking.
The Role:
To provide oversight and management of credit review process and provide oversight to the Credit Manager. Advise where the bank is exposed to risks emerginig in the review cycle. Supervise all daily, monthly and product excess reports, including margin trading report and debit balance reports, collateralised bond report (Trading
Book) FX trading, Customer group limits.
To recommend appropriate changes to the bank's Credit processing systems enhancing their accuracy, efficiency and relevance. Also, take responsibility for all
Credit Compliance issues, Basel II observance per credit expsoure, and all Credit
Policy and Procedure issues in the Department including recommending necessary changes.
The Candidate:
The successulful candidate will be proactive with a 'can do' attitude and should possess the following experience:
- Experienced credit professional in a Corporate Banking, Sovereighn Risk or Corporate Finance environment.
- Formal credit training, with solid experience of understanding how ot manage the whole credit process. You will have good knowledge of the banking products, to include: bonds, trade finance, margin trading and corporate lending.
- Up to date Professional Credit training.
- You will have good understanding of ISDA management expertise.
- Strong MS Excel/data manipulation skills.
