Head of Credit Risk - Energy
The Role
Working with a leading international energy firm, you will be responsible for managing a team of credit risk professionals looking at a cross-commodity portfolio including Coal, Freight and Physical Oil. Your role will involve:
- analysing and managing credit risk arising within a Global commodity trading portfolio
- making strategic operational decisions along with the Head of Credit Risk Management
- developing and implementing risk metric methodologies
- develop and maintain strong internal relationships with trading desks and external counterparties
- representing the department internally and externally to further develop the business
The Candidate
Candidates will have a minimum of five years' experience within a credit role ideally in a similar environment in addition to having a strong academic background. This role is within an English speaking corporation based in Germany so proficiency in English and a genuine willingness to relocate to Germany are prerequisite.
