Our client is a leading International Banking Group with an expanding Private Banking arm in Asia. To support the strategic business growth in Hong Kong and to put in place best in class Risk and Control framework, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk Management leader to join the Bank in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Risk Management, you will lead an experienced team of Credit Risk professionals in Hong Kong Private Banking division and you will be responsible to develop and manage the Credit Risk Management function. Your team will have responsibilities on the Bank's overall credit portfolio, counterparty risk, client credit analysis, credit proposals and processes review and you will have additional involvement in the approval of special and large lending lines. In addition, you will review credit policies and operational guidance for loans and provide training to Relationship Managers on Credit matters.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree
- Minimum 10 - 15 years relevant experience in Credit Risk gained from Private Banking
- Diverse range of Credit related skills in Credit Analysis, Credit Approval, Credit Documentation and Policies
- Leadership skills with good a good business-mindset
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English AND Cantonese
