Head of Credit Risk Management recruitment

One of the largest palm oil plantation groups in the world has established fantastic reputation in the region is to develop the best expertise in areas such as research and development, plantation management, etc to domestic and international markets. Due to the expanding business, the company is currently looking for an excellent Head of Credit Risk Manager to join their team.

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, this role is responsible for credit risk assessment of all trade and commercial counterparts covering the whole Downstream Business supply chain, including China and India. Additionally, you will also be required to develop in-house rating and classification system, to conduct the credit evaluation of trade finance counterparties, banks and financial institutions for LC issuance risk in target destinations. Being in this role, you will be responsible for developing an in-house credit policy in cooperation with risk and compliance units. Beside that, you will work with and support the finance teams on all credit risk related issues and assist in possible workout scenarios.

In order to be successful in this role, candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience. This person shall specialize in credit risk evaluation and management with corporate finance advisory companies or with relevant working experience in the commodities industry.  This person needs to be fluent in business mandarin as there will be frequent dealings with our China markets.
