Head of Data Insight & Analytics recruitment
Our client, a Global specialized Insurer is seeking an experienced Actuary to join their Life Health division to lead the Experience Studies team. Managing and supporting the various local and regional projects, this role will focus on data insights and analytics that cover all of Asia, both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities -
- Contribute to the growth of the business by participating in pricing activities and identifying data needs
- Lead the Experience Studies team to conduct independent experience analysis for internal and external reporting for all of Asia
- Apply technical knowledge and process skills to investigate data issues, analyze and interpret findings, formulate conclusions and communicate results
- Direct more junior staff in preparing data analyses
- Lead the Data project for Asiaand work closely with the global project team
- Review pricing basis on various business lines supported by the Asian local office
- Streamline current processes for efficiency when appropriate
Requirements
- Extensive understanding of the Asian insurance markets
- Strong product knowledge with ability to understand the drivers of profitability
- Strong numerical analytical skills
- Effective management skills
- Ability to manage and direct research projects and complete them on time.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Good organization, prioritization and planning skills
- Ability to work in a team environment embedded in a global network
- Professional qualification from recognized Actuarial bodies (SOA,IA, IAA or recognized equivalent)
- Strong understanding of STATA, SAS, AXIS, Moses and Visual basic an advantage
