Retail, Wealth Ulster Finance is a key support function within the Retail, Wealth Ulster Division. The primary purpose of Retail, Wealth Ulster Finance is to apply specialist skills, knowledge and expertise to support the vision "to change the face of banking". The work requires an understanding of products, accounting operations and management information.
This department is the hub of Retail Finance and acts as the link between the business partners and the specialist financial modelling and analyst teams.You will act as a senior advisor to the Head of Finance, highlighting trade-offs, delegate to the Senior Business Partners and deliver a varied portfolio of projects. You will also ensure Business As Usual (BAU) processes are delivered on time as well as coaching the Decision Support Managers.
An accountancy qualification, post graduate numerate business qualification or relevant time-served experience in a commercial Decision Support role, delivering a number of the key Decision Support activities is essential. You will likely have experience of a multi-functional management team with budget delivery support and show signs of developing expertise in subsets of Decision Support activities. Previous exposure to commercial business operations with awareness of current business issues and ability to see relevance to own business areas / divisions is also key.
