Head of Derivatives Settlements recruitment
Responsbilities
-You will be managing a team of 30 within Singapore. The team will comprise of Assistant Managers, Senior Analysts and Analysts
-Must be able to demonstrate experience managing a team and also be able to set team objectives and develop matrices for yearend performance
-Be able to effectively track team performance and efficiencies through the competent use of MIS
-Understand and implement the necessary controls and checks and ensure that all targets are achieved on a daily basis
-Be able to confidently represent the team and departmental functions in business meetings which may include other departments or project groups.
-Be able to present and run team meetings effectively and competently
-Research, Investigate and resolve any problems in the settlements process and ensure that adequate time is allocated to solutions
Prior experience with running and co-coordinating teams is essential. You must have a very strong knowledge of Front-To-Back process within a large investment bank or similar organization. Product control background would be beneficial and a strong knowledge of multiple products and derivates settlements is also needed. You must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of Banking Operations and an understanding of internal risk.
