A Head of Development role has arisen within a leading financial software house in Cambridge that are rapidly expanding and extending their global outreach. The Head of Development position is integral to their continued commitment to create market-leading software products within a competitive their highly lucrative software market.
The successful Development Manager / Head of Software Development will be an outstanding candidate with a proven track record of leadership at Development Manager or equivalent level. You will have shown success over a number of years work in / exposure to the following functions:
- Hands on development of high quality software built using Microsoft Technologies (Core products are built in C# / .Net)
- A range of software methodologies, most notably Agile.
- Exposure to the full product life cycle of both web-based and windows n-tier applications
- Leadership of diverse development / testing teams (20+ team members)
- Project Management/ Business Analyst skills
- Client facing and advocacy
