You will be working for an extremely successful b2b media company who publish a whole range of magazines, hold several websites plus conferences, exhibitions and awards ceremonies. They are one of the UK's leading independent media companies and have been established for more than 50 years, they are an influential and growing company.
Role
The key tasks of the Head of Digital Sales include:
Managing and developing a growing team of 12+ sales people with a revenue line of approx. £3m.
Growing, developing and monetising further, the companies digital offering.
Developing and implementing commercial strategies.
Leading from the front and driving the digital offering both commercially and technologically.
The Candidate/Experience
Key attributes of the Head of Digital Sales include:
Proven track record of leading sales teams to success and meeting their targets.
At least 5 years of managing a team of 5 sales staff or more.
Direct experience of working in a B2B digital publishing environment.
The ability to identify and exploit projects and opportunities that are commercial winners coupled with sound commercial judgement.
