Head of Digital – UK recruitment
The ideal candidate will possess sound experience in the development of global websites, particularly from a CMS perspective. Your team will be versed in managing and delivering successful online marketing campaigns.
Duties will include:
• Implementation and management of the Global digital strategy, including:
oWebsite maintenance, build and reporting, including optimising online acquisition
oDigital marketing (including SEO, PPC, affiliate, social network and campaign marketing, plus reporting)
oLiaising with digital agencies on creative and media considerations
oConsulting with sales and relationship management on digital objectives, strategy and initiatives
• Recognise, research and communicate digital opportunities throughout the business
• Proactively identify opportunities for an enhanced user experience online, and project-manage the development of related initiatives
• Identify and implement online retail marketing best practice
The roleholder will have a strong awareness of the Financial Services sector however experience can be from either client or agency side. To apply for the role you must have:
- A university degree at 2:1 level
- 8 years relevant website development experience (preferably in UK retail financial services)
- Extensive technical understanding of online – web, advertising, social networking/UGC and SEO in particular – and demonstrable experience of usability research and design
- Extensive understanding of regulatory requirements for digital communication – data protection and financial promotions in particular
- Demonstration team management and multiple project management skills
- Creative flair and a good understanding of brand
- Passion for website development and a leader in thought on the subject
- Ability to work with a wide number of stakeholders
- Must demonstrate good communication skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to push boundaries
- Perfect written English, and complete understanding of the issues around writing online content
