Job description
As Head of Economic Research, your responsibilities will include:
---Helping to design and determine the institution's economic research model, philosophy, process and agenda
---Managing a team of economic researchers that build analytical models concerning the macroeconomic performance of specific countries, monitor the macroeconomic environment, and produce reports that help the institution fulfill its functions
---Organizing the institution's interactions with the various economic research teams partner institutions
---Interacting with the market research and lending teams, as well as external research providers and other financial institutions
Who we are looking for
---You have a graduate degree, preferably in economics
---A CFA or other relevant professional qualifications and relevant academic publications are desirable
---You have at least 10 years of experience in economic research of which 5+ years in a people management role
---You have strong knowledge of macroeconomics and econometric modeling
--You are IT literate
---You are a team player, and a strong leader
---You are knowledge driven, rigorous and detail oriented
