Head of Emerging Market Economic Research
The Senior Economist will work with the Global Asset Allocation team detecting and analysing the determinants of economic growth on emerging countries especially the Asian region, as well as producing investment recommendations and market views across asset classes.
The role will also have a direct client-facing role in working with key relationships, and driving the reporting process to deliver the highest standard of reporting to the client base.
This individual will represent the firm, presenting at major international investment conferences.
The role provides a unique opportunity to work at a senior level with a successful investment team. It will provide access to leading edge systems and exposure to a diversified range of trading markets and styles.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Have a strong background in elaborating in-depth macroeconomic analysis blending quantitative and qualitative approach.
- Strong macro analytical ability is important together with a good understanding on quantitative and econometric methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and public presentation
- Global Emerging Markets experience required with a particular knowledge of Asia economy.
- Fluent English is essential with strong abilities in another language a distinct advantage.
