Head of Energy/Commodity Sales recruitment
Department: Energy/Commodities Sales Trading
Position purpose
To manage and develop the existing energy/environmental products derivatives sales team and to drive the strategic growth of the company across the energy complex
Main responsibilities
• Management of the current energy environmental products flow derivatives marketing team
• Team development, recruitment training
• Setting and driving revenue targets
• Assess and advance the current and future sales strategy
• Work with the board on strategic corporate expansion plans and new product development
Experience Person Requirements
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team and also engage effectively with internal external stakeholders.
• Degree holder in related discipline
• Other professional or business qualification (Masters degree, MBA, CFA)
• Significant sales/marketing experience preferably from the energy/commodities markets, however we would also consider candidates from a Information/ data provider or FX /Rates background with experience of selling into energy companies /corporates or industrials
• Proven track record in managing a sales teams (10+ headcount) with multi million pound turnover and exceeding revenue targets
• Strategic thinker, able to deliver solutions to complex market based challenges
• Mature, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, outgoing and charismatic
• Established relevant client network across energy companies, industrials and corporates, proven ability to identify, pursue and develop new clients
• Adaptable with exceptional relationship management and presentation skills
• Deep knowledge of European energy markets with a focus on gas, power, coal and carbon
• Additional languages considered as advantageous
Basic salary with unlimited upside potential, renumeration is based on peformance(PL) on which we pay a profit share of team revenues and a % of personal PL..
