Head of Enforcement recruitment

Responsibilities:

You will be accountable to oversee the enforcement department which includes inspecting possibility of suspicious violation and infringement of regulations by employees, subsequently to impose necessary disciplinary actions.

You will be expected to deliver effective leadership in your team as well as administering a full investigation.

You will be required to represent the organisation to work with the regulatory body and at the same time, placing both organisations at an advantage. In addition, you will handle prospective disputes between regulatory obligations and commercial interests.

You will be required to create and revise rules and regulations on enforcement and disciplinary context, as well as to deliver strategic input and leadership on enforcement issues and general regulatory policies.

You will be assisting the management team on regulatory matters and enforcement outlook and also ensuring that the disciplinary tribunals of the organisation are informed of the contemporary matters of the industry in order to execute unbiased disciplinary actions.

You will be required to exhibit arguments before the Disciplinary Committees and Appeals Committee of the organisation as well.

Requirements:

 

You should have at least a Degree in Criminology, Social Science or equivalent, with relevant 8 years of experience in litigation, enforcement and financial services sector. Candidates with practical knowledge of securities and derivatives markets particularly the trading practices as well as knowledge of the relevant legislation i.e. MAS, Securities and Futures Act, Companies Act, will be an advantage.
