Head of Equities Desktop
Responsiblities:
- lead the Asia Equities Desktop team, acting as the point person between the product group and clients to ensure full engagement with and tight communication of propositions to the channel and clients; and communication of requirements from clients and the channel back to the product group
- develop, maintain and present regularly, the full range of value and customer propositions for Equity Desktops and Transactions in Asia
- drive the Equities Desktop team to deliver medium to large revenue opportunities
- drive small to medium revenue opportunities directly with Direct accounts, involving sales channels where appropriate (including commercials approval); in support of Equities Desktop strategic goals
- define, develop, and communicate the go-to-market strategy for the Equities Desktop and Transactions product lines
- sponsor product fixes, enhancements, and upgrades through direct, frequent, and regular contact with all sales channels, as well as directly with clients in Asia
- prioritise all product and content enhancements and initiatives for each product line
- identify and champion new product and service opportunities for Equities Desktop and Transactions
- identify and champion/sponsor potential business partners and work with EFP Partnerships group and Sales Partnership group to strike formal partnership agreements
Requirements:
- specific experience in equities, trading and market data field
- strong analytical and problem solving skills. (market analysis, requirements definition, competitive analysis , etc.)
- ability to communicate complex concepts to a broad audience, including senior management
- strong team player with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions/regions
- strong financial and commercial acumen
- communication: Ability to communicate confidently and concisely using specialist business acumen
- delivery: Ability to understand the business and practices of global, multi-asset trading
