Head of European Equities
With pan-European Assets in excess of €1.5bn our client is looking to enhance the management of its pan-European equity fund, through the appointment of a strong team leader.
The successful candidate is likely to have a significant background in long-only pan-European equity fund management with a demonstrable, consistent performance track record. However, our client is also prepared to look at candidates who wish to return to the long only space from long-short equity fund management.
The team leader must have a clearly defined investment philosophy and process, based on a fundamental approach to stock selection, which nevertheless retains the flexibility to be developed through the input of senior colleagues and members of the team.
This position will suit an individual who is a stock picker at heart and is prepared to take sensible levels of risk and back their own judgment.
In addition, candidates should have either existing team leadership experience or the demonstrable potential to become a team leader. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the overall development of the firm’s equity process.
The position will report to the Director of Equities and is based in London.
The position will offer a competitive base salary and performance related bonus.
