Job Description

Head the global Credit Exposure Management team providing leadership on Credit Exposure Measurement and Management for Financial Markets business across all Asset Classes. In addition support the WB Credit team on the IMM approval from the FSA and develop a vision for the CEM team in a post IMM era.

Key Roles Responsibilities

* Active management of Credit Exposure Management (CEM) team globally. Presence of CEM analysts in the locations of Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, London, New York.
* Provide leadership within a Credit framework during trade/ business discussions by ensuring quality and depth in CEM analyses to FM and Credit Risk.
* Advise pre-transactional analysis on derivatives payoffs and the relevant credit exposure to Financial Markets (FM) Sales/Structuring and Credit Risk.
* Advise on issues related to derivatives/ traded products for the purpose of counterparty risk management- risk sensitivity/risk profiling/ risk mitigants to FM and Credit Risk.
* Advise haircuts/ initial margins for credit risk management purposes in particular Private Bank Margin Trading and Hedge Funds business. Assist in the delivery of credit risk methodologies for the calculation of haircuts/ initial margins and development of tools in support of the calculation.
* Work in partnership with FM/TCRM and Credit Risk Analytics to develop credit measurement methodologies, booking models and exposure capture processes for existing and new business streams.
* Provide regular updates on businesses/ market movement/events from the various regions and core asset class-business streams to senior management in Group Market Risk and TCRM/ WB Risk.
* Assist TCRM in Credit Stress-Test reporting.
* Provide market-driven scenario analyses at an incremental risk and portfolio level for pro-active counterparty risk management.
* Advise and participate in the regulatory project work streams of Internal Model Methods (IMM).
* Effectively discharging duties as an accountable member of IMM governance committee.

Qualifications Skills

* Strong in communication skills. Able to proactively manage stakeholder relationships between FM business and Credit Approvers.
* Strong in cross-regions team management
* Strong product and market knowledge across asset classes of FX, Rates, Commodities, Credit and Equities.
* Quantitative background is preferred to participate in derivative pricing and credit exposure measurements methodologies.
* Extensive understanding of IMM and related regulatory requirements.
