Our client is a renowned American brand name in the healthcare and skincare products industry.  Already a household brand name that has been established for many years in the US and Europe, they are now continuing to expand their presence in Asia Pacific.  They have a major manufacturing and supply chain operation based in the Philippines that produces products  both for the domestic and export market across the region.  Due to an internal move, they are now seeking a Head of Finance to work as a business partner to the General Manager of the plant.

Reporting directly to the Executive VP of Finance and operationally to the General Manager, this role is a key figurehead to lead the finance function and manage the PL for the plant.  You will ensure all reporting is completed on the controllership side, and work with corporate headquarters to represent the business on all tax and treasury matters.  In addition you will drive the business support functions, identify opportunities for cost improvements, risk management and work to capitalise on new business investments.  You will coach and develop your team to upgrade their skills and continually look for ways to increase efficiency, establish a stronger controls environment and add value to the operations with better informed data for profit planning and forecasting.

Suitable candidates must be professionally qualified accountants with a CPA or equivalent and have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a US multinational corporation.  You must be a seasoned professional within a manufacturing and supply chain background, and have strong man-management and leadership skills to run a team and a PL.  Demonstrated expertise in business partnering, working at a strategic level and managing the budgeting and forecasting process is essential.  Ideally you will have local Philippines market knowledge and have acquired international exposure at some stage in your career.
