Head of Finance
STRATEGICALLY MINDED CFO WITH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
A private equity backed start-up energy organisation based in the Philippines is looking for a strategically minded and technically strong Head of Finance to help lead it through a 5-7 year sale strategy. This all-encompassing Head of Finance role will retain a strong sense of fluidity through necessity; you will be expected to be extremely hands-on from cradle to grave from back to middle to front office. As the Head of Finance you will be working alongside the CEO and private equity board to help deliver targets, strategy and value creation plans from a financial perspective. It will be your responsibility to build a team here, and challenge and champion business development.
Given the nature of the role, the Head of Finance should have:
- A formal accountancy qualification, or equivalent
- Exposure to the Energy/Power industry
- Strong working knowledge of a related industry in the Philippines
- Technical awareness of IFRS/Local GAAP reporting standards
- Driven and entrepreneurial personality
- Willingness to work for a Private Equity start-up backed business (i.e. be hands on)
- Ability to liaise with senior individuals and have contacts to network from
- Strong systems implementation exposure
- Exposure to working in a smaller company environment
