Job summary
Main deliverables of the APAC FA team include the issuing of performance indicators, budgets and forecasts, engaging with commercial teams in the management of projects, providing administrative support, accounting services, and premises planning. Eventually, the team needs to ensure that operations run in compliance with SWIFT policy and standards and local regulations.
With a direct reporting line to the Regional Executive and a dotted reporting line to the Company CFO, key responsibilities are :
- Act as member of Asia Pacific management team: supporting the development and implementation of the Regional strategy as part of SWIFT2015, being an active contributor to management decisions, providing relevant financial information and dashboards.
- Develop vision for FA team: ensuring full alignment between management vision and FA deliverables, ensuring the team is and remains a reliable sounding board, provide value added services to the Region while safe guarding financial viability, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Manage a team of professionals: translating vision into individual objectives, ensuring the work is done within agreed deadlines and with highest quality standards, coaching team members to achieve their goals, and developing them to embrace continuous improvement ideas and support their implementation.
- Be responsible for own development: proactively seeking for new assignments and projects within and beyond own area of expertise, building bridges across teams including Head Office, developing strong networking within the Company.
- Keep constant link with the different teams in Head Quarter.
Job Requirements :
Education
- University degree
Experience
- 8-10 years experience in finance
- Past experience in managing big (re)organization projects in Asia is an asset
Professional knowledge and expertise
- Strong people management skills
- Knowledge on local requirements, local practices and culture is an asset
- Knowledge of SWIFT (products, procedures, policies, and people) is an advantage
- Soft skills: collaborative, strong customer orientation, assertiveness, fast learning, self drive, proactivity
- Proficient in oral and written English; knowledge of one or more Asian languages is a bonus
