Head of Finance (Commercial Business Partner) recruitment
The Head of Finance will take charge of a broad and dynamic business area which sits within Finance. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to lead and mould the development of this role.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Business Partnering to the Executive as part of the Corporate Risk Solutions Leadership team, providing both financial and business leadership.
* Ensure a high level of financial support and discipline to business activities.
* Commercial finance support building business cases and financial models to underpin and support all deals.
* Drive a performance management culture and initiatives within the organisation across Claims, Underwriting and Sales.
* Manage and develop a dual-site team across London and Norwich, including Managers and Senior Managers.
* Own financial planning activities and provide regular and expert financial reporting, analysis and commentary to the Executive.
* Build a network of contacts and positively influence across a wide range of stakeholder areas, both Finance and non-Finance.
Essential Knowledge and Skills

* A Qualified Accountant or Commercial Actuary
* Insurance Exposure - essential
* Head of Level or Equivalent
* Clear track record of leadership and management
* New Business Development
* Financial control awareness and discipline
* Proactive stakeholder management
* Excellent team working and good communication skills, both written and oral
