Head of Finance recruitment

JOB TASKS:

Management

• To manage the finance teams in China including directing, controlling, coaching, development staff;

• To manage cash flow and to plan and assist in allocating the use of available funds to meet business needs;

• To take an active role in the senior management team in formulating strategies and managing its implementation;

• Build-up and improve the local Finance Accounting, and its interfaces to the other departments. Problem solving will always require consideration of global, regional and local aspects.

Financial Control

• To develop, communicate and oversee guidelines on Company’s internal procedures;

• To develop and implement measures to improve financial control, reporting and accounting systems;

• To oversee the disbursement of cash, fund transfers and other payments;

• To coordinate with banks re funding to support business development.

Reporting Monitoring

• To coordinate closely with HQ and Local Management re compliance and implementation of Company policies and practices;

• To liaise with finance staff in all legal entities in China and Hong Kong to ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial reporting;

• To produce, analyze and distribute internal and external financial reports on all projects in an accurate and timely manner;

• To prepare and facilitate Company’s annual audit.

Development

• To facilitate the training and development of finance staff in financial management, as required.

Other

• To perform any work reasonably duties as required.

Quality Management

• Tender advice on improvements in relation to work process, to introduce and monitor quality tasks corresponding to the quality management system for continuous improvement and development of the company;

• Assist in the implementation and improvement of quality directives;

• Assist in production of the corresponding sections and parts of the quality management manual;

• Implement the quality policy and to management to quality system effectively within the organization and to ensure that the operation of the company is in compliance with the aspects stipulate in the quality manual.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Finance Management, Business Admin or related disciplines;

• Minimum 10 years experience in the Finance Accounting Management area, of which at 4 years experience working at a senior managerial level;

• Have good business acumen;

• Capability to develop new concepts as well as improve existing processes within the FA environment;

• Capability to build-up, integrate and lead the teams among all entities located in China;

• Strong interpersonal, communications, negotiation, problem solving and analytical skill;

• Strong leadership skill;

• Ability to understand and succeed in a multi cultural environment. The role requires cultural sensitivity and a team approach. International and Asian work experience will be an asset;

• Willingness to make decisions and take over responsibilities;

• Excellent computer skills;

• Excellent budgeting skills;

• Fluency in spoken and written English is essential;

• Accurate, analytical, reliable, team work spirit, highly responsible, strong sense in keeping confidentiality, pro-active, self-motivated, committed, open-minded, able to work under pressure with tight deadline and multi tasks.
