Head of Finance, UK Subsidiary of an International Bank recruitment
My client are the UK subsidiary of an International Asian Bank. They have a well established presence as a Branch and some years ago became a fully fledged subsidiary which created the need for this role.
They are non-trading retail bank who also offer some corporate, trade finance and treasury services.
A relatively small operation in the UK means you will work as part of a close knit team and enjoy full oversight of the finance and treasury function. You will have 1 direct report and 2 indirects.
You duties will include but not be limited to;
Preparing the statutory accounts
Ensuring all regulatory reporting requirements are met
Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
Budgeting and forecasting
Liaising with external providers with regards to tax issues
Liaison with Senior Stakeholders
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant post qualified experience within a similar small bank environment.
