Head of Financial Control

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within this leading Financial Services group for a Head of Financial Control to lead and run a team of 5 people and take responsibility for building a best in class function.

The organisation is going through a period of significant investment within this division and potential acquisitions targets. The division is the most respected within the business and have created this role to develop a "world class" control and reporting function.

Candidates will need to have a strong academic track-record (minimum 2:i degree from a recognised university) and ideally ACA qualified from the Big 4 Accountancy firms with experience of dealing with Financial Services or Insurance clients. This could be the first or second move out of an Accountancy Practice and a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience.

This is a key leadership role within the organisation and will take responsibility for managing and developing a team of 5 individuals, lead several programme initiatives and work streams around developing the financial control framework, improving the reporting and post acquisition integration work.

This is a high profile role which is seen in the business as succession planning for the Finance Director and will regularly interact at board level on business performance. Experience within Financial Services is essential.
