Position Title: Head of Financial Holding Company Compliance Monitoring and Testing

Position Description:
The position is responsible for standards, governance, and reporting on Compliance monitoring and testing functions, globally.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing team of testers to execute testing on
certain enterprise-wide compliance controls,
including:
o Test development and execution
o Workpaper review
o Issue of final report
• Working with IT to develop tool to track
Compliance testing, issues and corrective
actions
• Working with Compliance testing teams globally
to develop and communicate standards for test
work documentation
• Developing and providing training to
Compliance staff on testing and monitoring
standards
• Ownership and updating of Policies and
Procedures relating to Compliance monitoring
and testing
• Collecting required information from global
testing teams to provide regular and ad hoc
reporting to senior Compliance and Firm
management (including Board Audit Committee),
including:
o Monthly issues from Compliance testing
o Quarterly updates to Annual Compliance
Test Plan
• Compiling Annual Compliance Test Plan for
submission to Annual Compliance Plan
• Providing advisory coverage for global
Compliance monitoring and testing teams
• Working with IT and project teams to develop
database to house inventory of Compliance
monitoring activities
• Coordinating and overseeing monthly committee
meetings related to Compliance monitoring and
testing
• Liaison with Internal Audit and regulators, as
required
• Special projects/initiatives related to testing and
monitoring/surveillance

Skills Required:
- BA required, MA, MBA or JD preferred
- 10 years experience in Compliance testing and/or
audit in financial services industry
- Experience with Compliance-specific monitoring /
surveillance a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and
SharePoint
- Ability to work with Compliance technology teams to
develop MT related systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability/Ability to work with
global teams
